    So i just recently found out about Xbox play anywhere, I saw that Shadow of Mordor was one of those titles so i downloaded it onto my PC so I could play it on car rides or something like that. I loaded it up on WiFi at first and
    also made my PC as one of my offline enabled devices but when I disconnect from WiFi and try to start up the game it says "you need to be online to open this". I would really like to be able to play this game while not connected to the internet, any help
    is appreciated.

    Not all games are play anywhere.

    Only play anywhere titles are playable on PC and Xbox.

    if u mean Streaming Xbox one games on PC using xbox app then no u cant, controller in mandatory.

    if its a play anywhere title & u've downloaded it on PC, playing on PC then yes u can.

    Not all Xbox One games can be played on a PC. Only the play anywhere titles. If they are play anywhere titles you can just download them on your PC.

    Well, it depends what games they were....most games are not Play Anywhere titles. If they are not Play Anywhere titles, then you'd need to purchase the PC version to play the game on PC...only Play Anywhere titles can be bought once and downloaded on multiple platforms.
