Can't Play Xbox Original Game on 360

I just purchased Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex on the Xbox 360 live store.

When finished downloading it says 'Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex. Can't download.' and it doesn't appear under My Games. It is however under my storage>games as 'Unknown Game'.

I have tried:

- Deleting/reinstalling system update

- Deleted system cache

- Deleted game file and redowloaded it

I have a 250GB HDD and I can verify that it is in fact an original Microsoft HDD.

I can't play an original xbox game (Rayman 3) on my xbox 360

 

Bought a old Xbox game (rollercoaster Tycoon) and it won't load on my xbox 360 ERROR code: X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0

Sorry, but Rollercoaster Tycoon is not backwards compatible with the Xbox 360. There is no way to run this game on your console.

All the original Xbox games that can run on the Xbox 360 are on this list:http://support.xbox.com/games/play-original-games

If the game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox 360.

 

Sorry to hear it. Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for? Was the hard drive purchased with the console? If now, where was it purchased from?

 

I bought the metal gear solid game v and did not work. I have the invoice of the product and the store where you bought did not want to make the switch. How do I trade?

 

I am not able to contact the Xbox suport to make the switch .

 

Sorry to hear you're having issues Anderson. However, if you purchased a hard copy of the game and it will not work then you'll need to deal either with the store or developer.
