Cant play xbox on pc

I cant open xbox game on my laptop even my laptop fulfill all the requirement. Plz help me out thx!!

Xbox one cross platform play on Fortnite

Hi,

my son plays fortnite on xbox one. He can play the game with friends who are also on xbox but he cant play with friends who are playing on PC. His xbox friends can play with friends on PC. When he logs onto a pc he can play a game with users who are on PC
but when on xbox he cant. Why cant he play cross platform? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? Thanks
