Can’t play Xbox live or join a party, even though I have Xbox live

so yesterday morning i bought a year subscription to EA access and later in the day i noticed i couldnt join my friends party and xbox said i needed xbox live. I’ve checked my subscriptions on the microsoft web site and it says my subscription will expire
in less than a week on 6/14/2019 (not a typo, it says its going to expire soon on a date that has already occurred).

ive tried restarting my xbox, and removing and adding back my gamertag. Both did not work. Ive tried cancelling and re subscribing but xbox keeps saying they have a problem on their end. I tried the chat help with the game experts or whatever and that was
pretty pointless.

Anything else to try? Im a pretty casual gamer so At this point i may just let my live lapse... there doesnt seem to be a number to call on the weekends.

oh and i definitely have xbox live and my credit card is correct and hasnt changed. Ive had monthly recurring billing setup for awhile with the same credit card that is still applicable.

The best way to reach Live Support would be here:
Xbox Support

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

Try this:

Log into Support.Xbox.com
Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
Step 1: Click on Ask a Question
Step 2 : Select your Product
Step 3 : Select your Issue
- Select – Call me back
