Can't play Xbox app games on PC

    Can't play Xbox app games on PC


    All the folder games are unplayable and all of them are from the Xbox app. Nothing needs an update and I've restarted a couple times. Please help if you can

    Microsoft/Xbox allows players to "Buy once, Play Anywhere" on PC or Xbox. The game list is extensive but does not cover all.

    if you own the game (make sure to sign in first) you can play any of those games, on PC or Xbox.

    Xbox Game Pass Owners have access to the Xbox App (PC) games that are installable to PC and Xbox.

    Maybe I'm mistaken but there are apps that allow PS 5 users to run games that are not native to the platform. Is there something similar for Xbox?
    PS5 can't play PC games either.

    The PS Now service can stream old PS2 and PS3 games via an app, but an actual PS5 isn't necessary as you can also do this via PC, the same way as Xbox Ultimate doesn't need an Xbox to play its cloud games.

    As before it's not possible to actually download PC games on an Xbox console.

    Microsoft, Xbox, Minecraft protection online - "Let this app access your info?" - It's unverified so why would I?

    You don't need an Xbox, there's an Xbox app for PC that is used to access the Xbox services on games

    Don't know what you mean when you mention unverified app, as all Xbox apps are from Microsoft

    You can't play Minecraft without a Microsoft account currently
