Can’t play Xbox 360 game on Xbox one

I have been playing call of duty modern warfare two on the Xbox one since it became backwards compatible from the Xbox 360. Just recently I tried to log on and play and it says Your connection to Xbox live has been lost. Anyway to fix this while on the
Xbox one?

Dirt 3 on xbox 360

i’m trying to download Dirt3 on my xbox 360 and when i go to the xbox store, it tells me: Play on xbox one ... why can’t i buy it ?

do a network test to see if its connected. Sometimes it happens especially if there are storms about as your ISP CANNOT keep up.

 

All network testing works fine and multiplayer connection is fine.

 

Hi, if this is just happening on your Xbox 360 back compat game, then goto settings - system - storage, then you want to clear the xbox 360 local storage, once you have done that, then try the game again. The game will want to re-download your profile
back to the Xbox One, and should then connect back to Xbox Live.

 

Is this happening with all backwards compatible games?

Did you change your gamer tag recently?

If you have changed your gamertag recently then you would need to redownload your profile to the 360 emulator on the One Here is instructions on how to do that.

1. Load any 360 game

2. Once loaded hit the start and select buttons on the controller (small round buttons on either side of the big xbox button) This will load the 360 guide.

3. click on download profile.

4. Enter email and password for your account.

This will redownload your profile to the 360 emulator on the one.

When you change your gamertag you have to redownload your profile to any 360 console including the emulator on the Ones

 

have u tried to do a power cycle by holding power button down till it shuts down.
