    Can't play videos on Xbox Video.


    Hello I have a problem with Xbox video.When i try to play Simpsons episode i getting this Error:The License for this item is missing,corrupted or doesn't belong to the current profile(Code:803c0008).My gamertag used to purchase so that is clear but when
    playing these videos on my pc it's working so what can be the problem?I tried system cache to clear,redownloaded profile,videos,pull out my hdd and inserted usb stick to be "as new storage" ,but still i getting this message.Please if you have any information
    to help me please tell me Can't play videos on Xbox Video. :(.By the way account is USA.

    I'm having the same problem. I downloaded the halo 4 teaser, and can't get the zune market place to install the zune app. Can't watch the friggin halo teaser or any of tte other videos on my hard drive. What happened to the xbox having its own built in from
    the factory video player? This zune crap is bs. Even going to the video player and starting it and clicking the stupid zune videos tio get to my downloaded videos just leaves me at the same screen asking where I want to load my videos from, zune, my pc, current
    disc or portable device.

    How to watch old videos I downloaded from XBL years ago?

    Use the system video player. Press the Xbox button on the controller, move right to the Media tab. Select "System Video Player." Then choose "Downloaded Videos" as the source, and you should see your videos.

    Are all MP4 videos now doing this or only a select few? Do you have the ability to play something that worked perfectly before and see if this same issue happens?

    Not all MP4 videos are created alike, sometimes they have different video encoding with certain bitrates of the video that can't be played correctly on the XBOX 360.

    Try that out and let us know the results.

    Check if your video is for xbox 360, i have a video with audio mono and the xbox can't reproduce but when i convert the video to stereo the problem fixed

    What file format is the video file?

    • On the Dashboard, go to the "TV & Movies" tab.
    • Select "My Video Apps".
    • Select "System Video Player".
    • Select "Portable Device".
    • If the video format is compatible, your video should be listed.

    <edit> You can't transfer the file. Only play it.

    Since a couple of days I have a problem sort of like this. The X symbol doesn't go away anymore when I play video's using the 'play to' function or play a rented video on Xbox Video. It doesn't flash or flicker it just stays there. I did a hard reset like
    four times but it's still there. Please help me out, I can't find any solution on the net.

    It may be a problem with your scart/hdmi cable. Have you tried a different one?
