Can't Play Video

    I just rented a movie for the kids on my Xbox. Keep in mind it is not expired. When we try to watch it, a screen pops up and reads "Can't Play, Please try again. If the problem continues, visit xbox.com/support to check for guidance. 0xc101a3ff" I then
    look up the code and there isn't any search results for that code. Does anyone know what this code means? My next step is to call Xbox which is what I'm trying to avoid doing.

    How to transfer video from flash drive to the 360?

    What file format is the video file?

    • On the Dashboard, go to the "TV & Movies" tab.
    • Select "My Video Apps".
    • Select "System Video Player".
    • Select "Portable Device".
    • If the video format is compatible, your video should be listed.

    <edit> You can't transfer the file. Only play it.

    Also have gone thru all recommended steps (as OwMyHen has) and still get this error code. Other symptoms of problem. Can't play youtube videos or watch netflix movies. Can start the process, but get between 50 and 93% complete in the buffering, then an
    error message that the video can't be played. Doesn't matter the video, have tried many different, always the same result.

    What is the solution???

    That can't really be the issue I tried a few different sites and video plays just no audio.
