    Can't play TS4 on Xbox One


    I am trying to play The Sims 4 offline on Xbox One but its saying I need to be signed into Xbox Live. I've been playing it offline and from what I'm aware you don't need to be online to play so why am I unable to play it now?

    Is the xbox you are attempting to play on set as your home xbox? Keep in mind, when playing on any console not designated as your home xbox, an online connection is needed.

    Hello Toots405,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue, as the Ambassador has stated, you do need to sign into Xbox live every so often to ensure the licenses for digital purchases is intact. Additionally, sometimes if it asks you to go online
    or to sign in through Xbox Live it's due to a possible Xbox Console update or for a game update.

    It's related to the cloud saves. if you played the game online only once, you have to be online for the latest cloud saves.

    Is your version of the sims 4 digital or a disc? You have to log into xbox live every so often or it won't let you play digital games.
