Cant play the downloaded game offline (the game works just fine when im connected to the ...

i bought need for speed rivals (by download via xbox live), when i want to play the game on my xbox one offline, i get the message that i need to check if i own the game. I am getting the message on the same console i bought the game with... in fact i need
to be online to play the game i just bought from xbox live. All system updates on the xbox one are downloaded. The same problem accures when kinect is connected and disconnected...

Its not possible for me to download it again, because i have to pay for every MB i download.

ps: when my console is connected to the internet, the game works fine. But when i disconnect from the internett the game will not play at all. i am getting the same message every time (check if you own the game at xbox live store)

i have tryed to start the game when i am signed in & signed out (while i am offline & online), with & without the kinect connected.... nothing works

i cant for the life of me figure out why i cant play the game offline when i just downloaded the game from xbox live. Anybody have a solution for this problem, please answer....

XBOX STATUS ALERT:UK xbox sign in problems,xbox1 doesnt work offline.

Yes it does, you have to disconnect from wifi first, but it does work.

 

Is this by any chance the second Xbox One console you've used? (After either a repair of the first or maybe playing on a friend's.)

If so, and if this is your primary console, go to Settings>Home Xbox and set this console to be your Home Xbox. This will allow you to play purchased games offline, because on a non-Home Xbox you need to be signed into Live to play downloaded games.

This sounds like the likeliest explanation for the issue you are having.

The levels refer to activity on the forums, it has no bearing on game activity or anything and is purely and exclusively related to the forums. I post quite often so mine is higher.

Its actual name is 'Community User Level' or CUL for short.

If you get more active on these forums yours will increase too.

I'm having the same problem with a pair of games I downloaded with my gold account. Spartan assault and max the curse of brotherhood. I played them both yesterday now I get that *** "if you own this game please insert it." Message. I downloaded it for free
***. Killer instincts still works. When I go into my settings I don't see the option to make this my home Xbox. Can anyone help?
