Can't play story or online??

Just got this mortal kombat x yesterday installed it and it won't let me click story or online. I tried uninatalling and reinstalling and still same crap?

You can still play without TTK, just can't advance past the lvl34 cap or do any of TTK story.

story is locked ? when happens when you hit start does it go black

i have some friends this happens if its a digital version , i have the disc so mine played just fine

what i did was load the game on to my hard drive and i have to put the disc in to read only

the disc will not spin it just sits there in the try and i can play it foe hours and after taking the disc out it is not hot or warm at all : ) ....note putting this on the hard drive with out any updates only takes 10mins but the next time you turn it
on the updates will be there but after that .....its smooth loading and no errors at all

So here's what happened. RDR has 2 versions on the store. The Story and the Online. The Online is the base game and without it, you can't play the Story mode. Now what happened was, the Online was on Game Pass for a long time so all players needed to do was purchase the Story edition to play.

Now the Online was removed from Game Pass recently, making the Story Mode unplayable. In order to access the Story again, you'll need to purchase the base game, once that's done, you'll be good to go.

Yea - so I only managed to find it online. I only started playing online so I am still getting to grips with it - am I correct in saying that you can not save cars from the online game to use in offline story mode? I can't find any Sultans on the story mode
at all!
