    Can't Play Split Screen


    We bought Minecraft so I could play with my daughter, and we recently upgraded to the XBox One version because we were having some problems with the 360. She pressed start, it asked her to press it again, she chose her profile, and it went right back to
    the single player game I already had open and now nothing happens when you press any buttons on that controller. Is there a bug going on here, or is there something I'm doing wrong? It's hard to play a game together when it won't let her in.

    You need two gamertags for split screen. You can't have two characters for the same gamertag playing split screen.

    It all started with G-Son and I playing game, split screen. We play games split screen all the time. The only game that I get multiple save files is Halo 5 which you can't play split screen. I have all of GOW games, Battlefront, Slylanders, Halo Reach. The
    only problem I have is with GOW2.

    I have the same problem when playing split screen. I can't access inventory, but my second player can. I did find that you can use a chest and that inventory works fine. Hopefully they will fix this soon. Makes it hard to play split screen.

    Just to add on to;) , you can't play co-op split-screen on a single Xbox One.

    You can only play on two separate Xbox One and both must have Xbox Live Gold membership.

    Fret not, future Halo fps titles are confirmed to have split-screen:)
