Can't play shared games

    Can't play shared games


    Me and my dad both play Xbox so he shares his games with me. Recently I turned on my Xbox and I couldn't play any of the games that he shared with me. I don't know what's wrong. I tried going into settings and making sure that his home Xbox was set on mine,
    but I couldn't make it my home Xbox. This doesn't make sense because my dad has never changed his home Xbox to any other one besides mine. I need help because as of now I can't play most of my games.

    To those jumping ship

    Its a no-go because you can't play shared games together. Samething if you lend a physical copy.

    If everything worked properly before, then it sounds like someone, somewhere along the road, somehow changed their

    Hello OPwL, check if his account is set as main on your console, if the game was purchased on your friend's account and you can no longer play it is because he may have removed the account sharing with your console.

    Ensure the home Xbox setting is still set up. You may need to log in with the friends account again to get access to it.
