    Can't play Sea of Thieves


    I bought the xbox game pass for pc, I downloaded Sea of Thieves (the main reason i bought the pass btw) and when I tried to launch the game I always get a message that say it can't launch the game and to check on the windows store. I contacted the Rare support,
    but they just copy paste me the "fix" guide you can found online at https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/fr/articles/115015775927-Sea-of-Thieves-ne-démarre-pas- .

    Is there any way to fix this ? Bought it to play with friends and i'm the only one who can't play.

    Also, I tried whth other games from the store and they work just fine, SOT is the only one that causes issues.

    Xbox Insider hub problem with network try again.

    If you're trying to play the Xbox Insider version of Sea of Thieves, then be aware that this was the closed Beta before the game launched.

    Unless they added an Insider Version after I checked two days ago, you can't play that version, as the servers don't accept the Sea of Thieves Beta client anymore.

    You will have to buy the actual game, or have an active Game Pass subscription to be able to play Sea of Thieves.

    Maybe it's a Sea of Thieves setting as I haven't seen anything yet in Xbox Game Bar that uses SHIFT+F. Unfortunately I don't play Sea of Thieves on PC so I can't check that to confirm for you.

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    Game Pass is a subscription service to get access to games including Sea of Thieves.

    Gold is a subscription service to be able to play online. Sea of Thieves is an online only game and would require gold to be able to play it.

    Unless he own Sea of Thieves by itself, he needs both.
