Can't play Overwatch free trial

My fiancé downloaded the Overwatch: Origins free trial on his Xbox, and it automatically started downloading on mine. When it was finished, I went to play it and I got this message: "Do you own this
game or app? If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at Microsoft Store." When I
went to the Microsoft Store to download my own copy of the free trial, I wasn't able to as it was already installed. I uninstalled the trial and tried installing it again and got the same message. Is there a way that I can erase that I ever had this trial
from my account so that I can download it and play it myself? If I purchase Overwatch: Legendary Edition, will I be able to play it?

Overwatch Trial Glitch

Recently my friend had bought me Overwatch GOTY edition for Christmas, and previously I had been playing the Overwatch trial during the free weekend and had uninstalled it after that. I have recently installed the GOTY edition but it has been saying that
the free trial weekend has expired. Is there anyway to fix this as I enjoy playing overwatch and would like to play it some more.

 

My Overwatch game is not purchased anymore.

I bought Overwatch on Black Friday last year. This was on my main account XxoRAMB0oxX. Since yesterday I can't open the game anymore because it says I am using a trial. When I open the game, Overwatch tells me the free weekend has ended and I can't play.
Could someone please help me and take a look at it?

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. Reason it's not allowing for you to access the Overwatch free trial is due to the fact that since you're fiancé was the one who got it under their account, which means the rights to play was granted only to their
account. If the trial was previously used on an account it won't allow you to have the trial again. To answer your question; Yes if you purchase Overwatch: Legendary edition it will allow you to play as you would be the owner of the game.
