    Can't play online with a friend, but can still talk to them?


    So I have been trying to start an online game with a friend playing minecraft, but neither of us can toggle the "online game" option on when we are trying to create a world. I got an xbox error message at one point, with the code 8007274D. I looked it up
    and tried everything on the solution page and it didn't fix the problem. Also, while neither of us were able to play online, we were talking to each other via a private xbox live voice chat. Any solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Unbanned but still banned?

    ive been recently unbanned from a ban, I can now play online again but I still can't talk to my friends or message them or anything. What do I do?

    Hey there CoffeeCoronet! No, you don't have to be someones friend in order to play with them online, however their are some parental controls that you can't talk to people and some other things unless you are their friend. :) No, there is not a way to
    see who all is playing a specific game unless they are on your friends list. If they are on your friends list, you can see what your friends are playing at the time. :)
