Cant play online backwards compatible

I recently purchased a membership to play online. My xbox one games allow me to play online but my backwards compatible games dont allow me to play online. Ive tried multiple games including black ops 2 and it says your profile is not allowed to play online.
Help me please.

Xbox backwards compatibility issue

I've had my own account as my home xbox for a while now and I could play all my backwards compatible games on Xbox live with accounts that didn't have gold. No problem there. The problem is that my friend and I recently made eachothers accounts our home
xboxs and now I cant play backwards compatible games on multiplayer with accounts that don't have gold. How is it that all of a sudden I cant play online even though both xbox home accounts have xbox gold and both are gold sharing. It's just on backwards compatible
games btw

Phantasy Star online for Xbox

Phantasy Star Online need to be backward compatible 1-4 local splitsrceen and 1-4 online play

Are you still running into issues with this? Have you tried
removing your profile from the console,
rebooting your console and then adding your profile back? That might help with what you're seeing. Let us know how that process goes.

im having the same problem with Southpark the stick of truth it says i cant connect to the internet.

strange thing is banjo-tooie also a backward compatible game works just fine and when im playing that it says im online on the emulator.

So it looks like there are a few backward compatible titles that are unplayable right now

if its backward compatible then it will show up in ready to install

if it isnt then you cant play it on the one

You can play Black Ops online on the One and you would be playing with 360 and One players.
