    Can't play online after buying Gold


    I bought a one months Gold Xbox Live, and I still can't go online. I've went into Network settings and tested all my connections and they work. When I try to access online in a game, it says that I need to buy Gold, and then it takes me to the store and
    the store says I already bought it. I have no idea what to do

    it dosnt seem to be letting me rank up at all anymore without a gold pass?

    probably by buying a gold membership and play multiplayer. i suppose you could work on commendations...but if you aren't gold and can't play online, why worry about rank at all?

    Give your console a proper power cycle.

    The Xbox console may not always see changes to your Gold status immediately. A power cycle helps reset the system cache so it's "refreshed" to the current state of things.

    You can't play multiplayer with a free membership. You need to buy an Xbox live gold membership to play online.
