    Can't play offline


    My internet connection was a little unstable today, so my Xbox 360 console was disconnected from Xbox Live. Soon after that the game showed a message saying I had 10 minutes left to reconnect; that time passed and the game closed and now it won't launch.
    My other games still working offline. Is there any way to play my FFXIII-2 game offline?

    Can't play offline?

    I haven't had internet in a while and thought I could play this offline. I can't. It says "Something went wrong"... blah blah blah and gives me an error code telling me that I'm not connected to Xbox Live. I know, I thought I could play while not being connected
    to Xbox Live. Any thoughts?

    Can't play bluray offline?

    I have the xbox 1 in offline mode and is the only xb1 I ever logged into so should be home xb1. I just moved so no Internet for a week, i put in the disc trying to play a bluray but says I have to connect to the Internet. Same with digital games and disc
    games. Wtf. Xb1 is a huge paper weight, my nes is better than xb1 lol

    Like stated in another post above you would need to put your console into offline mode to allow this.

    Also like stated above there are games that are only online games like destiny 2 and fortnite and games like that, these will not work while in offline mode.

    You have to switch the console to Offline mode to ensure it still works when you have no internet connection otherwise it will continue to try and connect and fail.

    If you haven't tried that already.

    I have my Xbox One X set as my home Xbox but I still can't play any of my downloaded or digital games off-line.
    Do you have any example games that you can share with us, where you are having a problem?

    I cant think of any of my games that are digital that work offline. The only ones that work offline for me are the ones I have the disk to and then some of them dont either.

    most games require internet connection to download / update etc

    and if the game is online based to play that will require constant internet connection.
