Can't play my digitally Purchaased games?

My xbox it not allowing me to play any of my digitally purchased games, and always gives me an error saying

1) That I need to set this as my home xbox before launching the game if I want to continue (My brother in the same house has his xbox set as my home xbox so he can play my games so thats not an option.)Isnt that the pointt of the home xbox??))

2) Check your connection. We need to connect to xbox live, please sign in and try again. (I am signed in, am in a party talking, can browse the web, or play my games i have discs for just fine)

What do I need to do as of now?

Let's have you try to Power Cycle the console and see if that helps first. How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console. If not, try to remove your profile
and then re-add it to the console to see if that helps.

I am having the exact same problem... only game I can play is the one my brother bought. All of mine are a no go.

 

Same prob here, glad I'm not the only one. Don't bother setting your xbox to home gold, won't help. I let my friend who lives in another state use my gold so we can still hang out by playing the same games and stuff together. Switched it back to my system
and didn't help at all.

I can get most the games to work a lil bit but then they shut off with that sort of message. Destiny is the one game that won't work at all. All the others I can get to work at least a lil bit. Also it is effecting apps like youtube for me as well.

Kinda pissing me off since I went all digital this gen, have over 1000$ in games on my XBO. Can't use any of those.

 

Same problem here this is complete garbage and needs fixed Asap. Or i want my money back on all digital content.

 

I downloaded my games and haven't been able to load them after.

I keep getting the message "installation is almost done: if you have a game disc, please insert it now. otherwise, make sure the person who purchased this is signed in to Xbox Live, then choose finish"

I am the only one signed it, only account on my Xbox, and it doesn't give me the Finish option.

 

I have two Xbox One's and after the Dec. 25th issue, only one was working fine. The other Xbox One wasn't playing digitally downloaded games. I did a factory reset and downloaded everything again. Xbox One is working fine.
