Can't play multiplayer

I have downloaded Modern warfare multiplayer packs, I played it for a few days and then came back a week later to play and it said I needed to install the multiplayer packs which I had already done so I uninstalled both of them and reinstalled them and it
is saying the same thing. Any idea what is causing this?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not allowing you to play the game due to the multiplayer packs that need to be installed even you have already installed them. We saw this issue arise with
multiple customers a few days ago. We have been recommending basic troubleshooting such as

power cycling the console by holding down the power button for ten seconds and

uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, we suggest
reaching out to the developer for more support. Be sure to let us know the results

Try deleting your profile from the console and re-download it again.

Is your account a child of a parent account? If so, get in touch with the account holder to make sure multiplayer is not disabled for your account. It may be disabled by default.
