Can't play multiplayer or Campaign

Every time i load up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare it says i have to buy the game in order to play multiplayer despite my disc being inside the Xbox. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work, i even resorted to resetting my Xbox which
also didn't work. I figured it may be because of all the add on packs the game forces you to install, but i'm only given 2 and the rest aren't in my ready to install. I managed to find them in the Xbox store but it tells mt to purchase the game to install.

I'm not sure if this is a Xbox problem or not but if anyone knows how to fix this or any suggestions that would be appreciated. Thank you.

also if you have downloaded the free to play warzone then uninstall this as well as it can conflict with the full game if both are installed, it will install warzone as part of the full game add ons that get downloaded

You not the only one. it is the Activision server problems. have you been on their forums?There is no problem with live status which you can check

here.

If this is a Microsoft problem, the best option is to contact support. You can do that through provided link.

Have you found a solution to this because im dealing with the same problem. I have also tried those steps as well. This is really annoying and would appreciate any help.

I am terribly sorry that this is happening, my advice would be to try and get a new disk. It might be an error with the disk. Before buying a new one, try your best to clean it off.

I have this same problem and even cleaning the disc doesn't work I have download the update 10 times and reinstalled the game 10 times I keep getting the 'Missing Single Player DLC'
