Cant play multiplayer, NAT is open, I have xbox gold.

Ive got my NAT type open but i cant play multiplayer

To join xbox live multiplayer games you must have a gold membership. Further more your chances for multiplayer gaming will be greater if your net connection has open NAT settings.

Your problem could be a result of your NAT type. Your NAT type will affect your ability to connect to other Xbox Live gamers. Below are examples and a description of each NAT type.

Open NAT: With an OPEN NAT type, you're able to play and host multiplayer games with people who have any

NAT type on their network.
Moderate NAT: With a MODERATE NAT type, you're able to play multiplayer games with some people; however, you might not be able to play with others, and normally you won't be chosen as the host of a match.
Strict NAT: With a STRICT NAT type, you're only able to play multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You can't be chosen as the host of a match.
Unavailable NAT: If NAT is unavailable, you’ll be unable to use party chat or connect to multiplayer games for some titles on Xbox Live.

If you need help finding this information, follow these steps.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > General > Network settings.
Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.
