can't play multiplayer in minecraft

So I recently bought minecraft and I was trying to play multiplayer but it said that "multiplayer was disabled because of my microsoft account settings". So I went to my xbox account privacy settings and I allowed my account to join multiplayer games and I went back to minecraft to see if the issue has been fixed but it still said that I couldn't online.

I tried changing more of the settings but nothing worked and I tried reinstalling minecraft and it still didn't work.

Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings again, and then check the settings below, if it's already set to "allow" please "block" them again and then "allow".

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes. Restart your device as well.

And what prevents you from playing since there are no restrictions? What does the alert or error message say?

it does not need to be changed it is already set as over 18

Here's how you can change the Multiplayer's settings on your Microsoft account:

Open your web browser and navigate to the official Xbox website. Sign in using your credentials.
Now, click on the tab of Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety. Under t the option of You can join multiplayer games, set it to Allow.
