    I can't get my sons to be able to play starwars battlefront multi player on xbox one s. He has the live gold account and has a valid ea account, and I've adjusted ages & DOB to make sure it isn't an age thing. Also set up things on my account and it works
    fine.

    I recently purchased an Xbox 1 and received a 14day Xbox gold trial. I've redeemed the code and it says I have Gold but yet when I go onto fifa or try to play other games online it says I don't have access to this option prompting me back to the area with
    the three different monthly options for purchasing gold! What can I do? It's very frustrating especially when it is telling me I have Gold membership but I clearly don't. Anyone else have a problem like this?

    Sorry to hear it. Changing the age and DOB online does not change the age of the account. Also, some developers have extra checks and balances in place to prevent underage people from playing. You could try contacting EA to see if they are able to assist
    with permissions in this case.

    B4 is correct you need a valid GOLD membership to play any 360 game that has online multi-player features.

    GOLD sub is for playing multi-player games online, all the other extras are rip-off. Too bad there isn't a strong competition to Live at the moment on consoles so we have no choice if you want to play multi-player games. As a media hub for the family it
    fails miserably if you want to use online services like Netflix or LoveFilm as every family member should have a Gold sub even though they don't play games. I hope MS scrap this nonsense next gen and make multi-player and using 3rd party apps free and actually
    give a good reason to subscribe to Gold by adding value. Otherwise if the rumours are true, a weaker console than the PS3, costing more to play online and if Google or Apple join the fray with a better service MS can kiss good bye to their only success in
    the consumer market space. It will be Ex-box for sure.
