cant play movie all the way through

well, you can still play 3D MP4s through it if you are so inclined.

I cant bring myself to buy 3d movies...

so since everyone is having this issue and we are all paying customers, how does Xbox (microsoft) plan on making it up? i cant watch movies, play games or watch tv since everything is run through my system. sad that everything is made for online, cant even
play some games offline. How much longer do we all have to play? waited for my weekend(my free time) to get on and enjoy myself and i cant even do that.

I don't know of any games that would fit into a movie. Most games have at least 60 hours of game play and putting that into a movie would be tough. That's why things get cut out. I mean every game would need like 6 movies just to get through some of the
stuff you experienced in a game. That's why most movies based on video games dont do well. So much more content in games that they just cant bring to movies. It's the same thing the other way around. Most movie games seem to lack content because there isnt
enough there to make a good game most of the time.

I am having similar issues. Played one movie fine, but playing a different movie tonight and am getting the 4 shaded sections at random points throughout the movie but not all the way through. This really needs some attention from Microsoft as 3D blu ray
is one reason I eventually opted for xbox 'all in' one. I know its a fairly new feature to the console but surely that is what the update preview is designed to solve issues.

I tried renting movies and it wont let me and I cant play games on live at all it sux
