Can't play most Minecraft versions at all

I've been trying to run a 1.18.2 modpack however, after launching I always get error code 1. I thought it might be something wrong with the modpack but I cant even run vanilla 1.18.2.

I've tried uninstalling Java, reinstalling.

deleting the .minecraft folder/launcher and reinstalling.

updated my graphics drivers.

downgrading my drivers doesn't fix it.

manually selecting javaw for Java 17 doesn't work either.

I would be very grateful if someone can help me fix this.

Just did some testing and

1.17 - runs

1.17.1 - sometimes launches, sometimes error code 1

1.18.1 - error code 1

1.18.2 - error code 1

1.19.1,.2,.3 - error code 1

1.19.4 - runs

1.20.2 - runs

Even reset my PC and I still get the issue

Please can someone help.

Hi, I'm not using mods at all. I can't even run vanilla thats the problem.

The xbox 360 version of minecraft can't be played on xbox one you need to purchase the one version of minecraft in order to play

There are several different versions of minecraft. Minecraft: Java edition is PC only and can only crossplay with Java players (mac, Lenox, PC) The minecraft that doesnt have a version next to it is the play together version or more commonly called bedrock.
Bedrock is the version that can be played across mobile, console, and PC. There are also editions that are made specifically for most consoles and even a stand alone mobile version. Examples would be Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
These do not work with Bedrock which is just called Minecraft. Java is the most updated version of minecraft while bedrock would be right behind that one. The others I'm really not sure how often they update them if at all. Each edition of Minecraft has to
be purchased separately. I happen to own both Minecraft: Xbox one edition and Minecraft since they released at separate times. I also have Java on my PC. As for your issue they do not have a Bedrock version on the 360.

Version 1.12.1 is the currently the most recent official version of Minecraft in the Bedrock edition.

If you (or your friends) have opted in to receive the Beta version of Minecraft, then you'd be at version 1.14.

So unless you actively used the Insider program to opt in to the Minecraft Beta, the 1.12 version is the most up to date version, and everything is as it should be.

If you want to play with friends that have 1.14, they either have to leave the Beta, or you'll have to join the Beta to get 1.14. But be aware, that using Beta versions, you are playing on untested software, which can cause unexpected crashes or data loss.
