    Can’t play Minecraft Realms with my friends


    I have tried to join my friends server in Minecraft over realms, but I tried to accept the invitation and it just tells me to change my “online and safety settings” so I have followed the steps to get there and it tells me “Parental consent”. First of
    all, I dont have any family members on this account and my account isnt a children account, its an adult account which is why im confused as to why its asking me for parental consent and its telling me I cant play. This problem has frustrated me for the last
    hour, I have been trying to change my settings and its like it doesnt want me to play.

    Hi,

    Hmm strange maybe check your account settings on a PC from My Microsoft Account > Manage > Family and confirm you or anyone with access to your account mistakenly made family options enabled. Also maybe a setting in Minecraft might be causing this. Also
    restarting (power cycling) console may help. You and/or who your trying to join can do that. It seems to fix many issues.

    Maybe the parental ask is not for you and is for one of the members you want to play. Verify that option.
