Hello Salbatorix

You will not need any game to change privacy settings on the console. Just follow this to adjust the settings:

1.tap the home button on the controller (xbox button that lights up)

2. go to far right icon on top to system go to settings hit a

3. under account go to right to privacy and online safety

4. In privacy hit a on Xbox Live privacy

5. Easiest way to check if settings is select adult social then try game.

6. If it works you can then go into custom and adjust what you like, do a few at a time and try game if it fails then you know you changed one that affects game.

To check the account to see if it is a
child account, please check out this link:
Your family. If the account is a child, there will be a parent set up or the account will state it needs a parental account.

Also, I did see where it was mentioned that the settings will not save once submitting the changes. I apologize for assuming it was an Xbox Console. On the PC, is there a specific error message when trying to play with others?

From my understanding, the account is a child account and does not have adult settings in place, correct?

I would try to
remove then download the profile again. It seems like there may be a glitch with the profile. Also there is the option of trying to adjust the settings for the account on
