    Can't play logged off


    One doubt that I have: can I play logged off? Xbox live is off and I intended to play the Witcher 3 logged off but it ain't working. Once ago tried to play GTA 5 single play campaign, it starts but you can't save your progress unless you're logged in.

    Is there anyway to play and ssave progress logged off or I have always to be logged in?

    Heres a better idea, plug in ur 360; though the 360 also down, no problems playing games offline :)

    Whatever you do, DON'T RESTART THE XBOX ONE! I did. Now I can't access games, settings, or anything until I log in. Which live has blocked me! Why of all times do they choose the weekend to do this?! I work all wee to enjoy playing on mt Xbox One fri & sat.
    Ruined my weekend! Frikken stinks!

    Well, I guess I gotta thank XBF Erick C for the info to go offline. Thanks. I can log in now but not online.

    Hey there XvDeedee,

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, You may be able to play offline but you would have to go through the settings to set your console to Offline.

    You can follow the steps listed on the support page below to set your console to offline.

    Just be aware there is currently an
    active service alert     so you may have issues setting this up due to this.

    Why am I unable to play off-line on XBOX One? Since I can't log in to XBOX live I should have the option to play off-line until the service is up and when I log in they can update my profile to the sever.
