    Can't play Halo Infinite Campaign using Game Pass


    Hey everyone...

    Last time Y got to properly play Halo Infinite was last Wednesday... Thursday night I got into playing campaign, only to find an "Insert disc/buy" screen. I'm on Game Pass for PC, subscription's active, all Xbox, Windows Store and whatsoever stuff is up to date, and the most baffling part is between Wednesday & Thursday I changed absolutely no Halo or gaming settings at all. Also, I can still play other Game Pass games with no issues, at all.

    So far I've tried:

    1- Rebooting, of course

    2- Checking everything's up to date and subscription still active, as mentioned.

    3- Reinstalling Halo

    4- Logging in and out of Microsoft Store

    5 - Logging in and out of Xbox

    6- Different combinations of 1,3, 4 & 5.

    I got to chat with "a gamer in the community"; with whom we tried several of the above, and the only option we found was to post feedback in the Feedback Hub, with no reply so far.

    That's a known bug that happens for me sometimes as well, I just close it

    My guess is the current 50% discount messed the licensing. Good to read these replies before I kept doing more stuff on my computer, when it seems more and more likely MS/343 may be at fault here.

    Would actually prefer to go straight to Halo Support but didn't find the proper route... May I ask for a link to do so? The farther I got was into a Q&A without any chances to ask my own question.

    Just thought I'd throw this in as well. I bought the campaign within Halo Infinite and it let me play for a few minutes before stating that I needed a license and booted me out again then told me I had to buy the campaign again. I think this is a 343 issue and something in the last update screwed with the licensing.

    I have logged a ticket with Halo Support for this and I would encourage everyone else with this issue to do the same.

    yeah... I'm currently backing everything up and then I'll just start from scratch.

    I do have a feeling though, that this is more related to my account or something on MS's end... but the only way to be sure from my end is to either try on a different computer (which I don't have at hand), or clear this one up.
