Can't play Halo 5 online

Hi, the past few days I haven't been able to play Halo 5 online. I was wondering if there is something up with the game?

When I try to press the small burger shaped button to go to the main menu, it says the data sync failed and asks if I want to play offline or try again. Selecting try again results in the same message over and over.

If I select play offline and choose online matchmaking, it says I can't because it can't load any data.

What's happened, are the servers broken? My connection is fine and I'm online. It just won't get my Halo 5 game data.

HALO 5 - Multiplayer???

You can't play HALO 5 together on the same console. The game does not have split screen functionality. It is for online co-op only.

I have gold, but I'm unable to play online. Already tried power cycling, didn't work.

What the title says. I tried playing both Halo 5 and Halo MCC; however, Halo 5 tells me that I need an account with Xbox Live Gold with multiplayer privileges enabled. Multiplayer privileges are enabled, but I can't play online. Same story with the Master
Chief Collection. I tried power cycling, but it didn't fix the issue. Help me please.

Try hard resetting your Xbox (Holding the power button until the console shuts off and unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds)

If that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

it will be halo 5.... with all the previous titles in hd along with it. MP online too from halo 2 on

I cant connect to halo 5 servers, error to autorize this profile with halo 5 servers, can't connect to online modes, I have to change my router and open ports and I have the same issue, please help me :'(

Name is Jonathan, I have been playing halo 5 since release day and loving every bit of it so far, looking for some people who are interested in playing some halo 5 online or even MCC.

I have a question how many hours or match do i need to play to up my reputation on my account to good again for halo 5? Because that all i play is Halo 5 online match.
