Can't play GTA 5???

Every time i try to play GTA 5 even on a non xbox live profile a message comes up an says "This game requires an update, but the update couldn't be found"

any suggests what i have to do??? I wanna play my fav game . Thanks.

Xbox Live Gold not working

i have gold, but can't play GTA online. :/

 

As a Gold Member, You should have no issues downloading the update.......

Correction----- You may need a Hard Drive.

With at least 180 GS in this game, I must ask, are you using the correct disk? The single player disk (1) should work fine even if not connected to the internet with a silver account.......

The Multiplayer disk (2) may require an update...

Does the error occur only when attempting to play multiplayer or anytime you try to play (even single player)?

 

it occurs every time the disc launches i cant even launch the install disc. Im gonna try getting a hard drive next thanks

 

Solution 2: Clear your system cache

Press the Guide button on your controller.

Go to Settings and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Select Clear System Cache.

When you are prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Solution 3: Delete and reinstall the game

Problems that are related to downloading a game update might be corrected by deleting the game from your console and then installing it again.

If the game is installed on your hard drive, you will have to install it again after you delete it. If the game was purchased from Xbox Live, you will have to download the game again after you delete it. Don't worry: you won’t be charged again for a game
you have already purchased. For information about how to download previously purchased content, see View your Xbox Live download history.

Warning When a game is deleted, saved game information is also deleted. So, before you delete a game, copy your saved games to an Xbox 360 Memory Unit or a USB flash drive. For information about how to copy content to a storage device, see Copy, move, or
delete Xbox saved games, profiles and avatar items.

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and select System.

Select Storage, and then select Memory Unit.

Select Games and Apps.

Find and select the game you want to delete.

Select Delete.

Download the game:

If the game you deleted was originally downloaded from Xbox Live:

Go to settings and select Account.

Select Download History.

Browse your download history. Select the item, and then select Download Again.

Note If you want to see the charges on your Xbox Live account, see Check your Xbox Live billing and download history.

If the game was originally installed from a disc: Install the game again.

Copy the saved game information (if you saved it) from your memory unit or USB flash drive back to your Xbox 360 hard drive.

Start the game, and then download the update again when you are prompted to do so.
