Can't play games online but I'm connected to Xbox Live?! (xbox one)

i have 100% signal strength on xbox live (xbox one) but when i try to play any online game it says 'you have to be connected to the internet to play this game' . i have tried rebooting my internet and my xbox but that hasn't worked, any suggestions? or anybody
having the same problem?

Xbox one (live) connection issues.

When I'm signed into Xbox live I'm greeted with try connection to Xbox live in the dashboard,or i can't jump to online games or use any online apps even though I'm connected online with test connection all good well as multiplayer player connection good
and yes I've tried resetting,turn off-on but nothing. Its been about 2 days since. Is it me or everyone else getting this?

I'm getting that EA server is not connected crap and can't even get to see any online play

 

I'm having the exact same problem as you. Hard resetting doesn't help, resetting my modem, and still nothing. Everything else runs fine its just my multiplayer.

 

do you think it was something to do with the last update?

 

Can you try the following ?

Go to: Settings; Network; Advanced settings; Alternate MAC address; Clear; Restart.

Sometimes there's a bug which clearing the MAC adress can fix

If that doesn't work try deleting your account of your xbox and then downloading it again

support.xbox.com/.../remove-profile-from-console

 

What if i need to use an alternate mac though? In my case, im constantly on the move and take my gear with me. I many times use my phone to log into the wifi network with the browser and then use my phones mac on my console to connect to live, this has worked
for a long time up until now...

Depending on your phone you might be able to change the MAC address of that

 

Hi i have the same problem not only that, i cant unlock acheievments talk to anyone connect to any game, network status, Nat type strict, all services available, tried solutions you guys have said, also port forawrding and still after 4 weeks, no change

 

This is on my xbox one my 360 is fine
