Can't play games from store offline?

Well this is my first time being on the forums and I'm not sure how to navigate it yet so if this is in the wrong section of the forums could someone please move it.

I've received and confirmed word that I cannot play games I've bought from the xbox live store offline. I feel this is a huge slap to the face from Microsoft I feel it is very unfair to your paying customers that you take away the ability of playing our
games bought from Xbox Live offline. I'm very serious when I say I strongly disagree with this new "rule" that Microsoft has put in. I've recently moved into a new house which meant no internet but fortunately I purchased internet service about a month ago,
but what if I still had no internet and the games I've had on my xbox before I moved couldn't be played. Also all the games I have on my xbox are purchased from xbox live so if my internet for some reason got cut I would have no way to play the games I bought
from Xbox Live Store. Honestly I've been loyal to xbox ever since the day I first got my hands on one 5 years ago, but considering this mistake I might have to make the jump to Playstation as their rules are much more reasonable. Please revert this change
as it is very unfair for many reasons.

can't buy game from Xbox store

I tried buying games from the Xbox store but it wouldn't let me use my debit card...I called my bank and there is nothing wrong with my card so I don't understand how come I can't buy anything... I've used that card before to buy games from the store...
Please fix this problem

Cant play downloaded games on xbox one

Hi there can't play the games i have downloaded onto my xbox from the xbox store why?

Games i have disk for play fine

you should be able to play games offline unless you got a new console then you would have to transfer the license to the new one then redownload your games then you will be able to play them offline or online.

I've do have a new xbox 360 and I did do a license transfer. I still can't play my games offline though?

If you go to settings then network hit disconnect from internet and try to play any of the top games offline. It will not work all of your saved data is stored on cloud which requires internet. The manager from xbox one support said there are very few games
that can be played offline

1 it's a xbox 360.

2 destiny is an online game, you can't do anything with it offline.

3, I installed from the disk that I bought and it still wants me to d/l from the store.

Thank you! I have bought some of the expansion packs on Sims 4 when we had an xbox. If i buy the PC version will I have to repurchase the expansions?

Unfortunately only games that are Play Anywhere titles can be bought digitally and played on both the PC or Xbox. Otherwise, you would have to
purchase the PC version of the game in order to play it on the PC.

Sims 4 is the current one i am trying download. when i tried buying it it said i have no devices to use it on and confirmed the purchase anyway and i do not own an Xbox anymore. thats why i was hoping to transfer some games to the MSI. sorry the baby was
in my hand when i originally typed. i know can see my original post made no sense. My apologies
