Can't Play Games But Can Use Apps.

I was halfway through playing a mission in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain when suddenly the game crashed with red markings on the screen before the console turns itself off. Now I can't access any of my games in my library, although I can still
access apps such as Bluray, YouTube and Netflix. I've set the Xbox back to factory default as well as trying many other things to fix it with no success.

Can't play any online games, connected to xbox live though.

I can use all of the third party apps, but can't access the Xbox Store, Xbox Music, etc. or play multiplayer games. Had the problem for three nights now.....

Fifa17 online - can't playbgames

my gold is all ok, I'm online, can download updates, use other apps etc.... But I can't play any online game of Fifa 17? When playing a friend, connection was lost and when doing season can't find a player with similar rating.... Any ideas?

Hey buddy,

It sounds like your console may be on the way out, and may need to be sent for repair

Did you get an error message when it occured? And what happens when you try and play games now?

Also, try doing a power cycle, with the console on, hold down the power button for 10seconds until the console turns off, then wait a minute or two before turnign it back on and trying again.

If you mean using the xbox music app to play music in the background, while playing a game, then no, unfortunately you can't. Still a useful app for playing music, though

To play Steam games, you must use Steam. You can't play Steam games through the Xbox app.

You can still see your friends while you're on a silver account. You just can't play online, use some apps, or join games or parties.

I can't log into my xbox app which means i can't play my windows 10 games online, i recieve the error code 0x80070520 and if searched on xbox support it says there are no results.

I can sign in with another account so the app might be fine, i can't get it to work and have already tried all the common powershell ideas and resetting the app.

it also will not let you connect to any apps, use code,etc, keeps telling you to restart console, BROKEN!!!
