Can't play games bought on another account anymore?

my family decided to buy destiny and the Halo series on my step brothers account "s2 aces" and we would play them on our accounts on our Xbox (inb4 I fhritp, IP IHI IR O S T, etc). A few weeks ago it started not letting me play and I can only play those
games if he is logged on his account, but he has a password so o can't usually get on since we work opposite schedules. Is there a reason I can't play these anymore???

Bought game can't play?

Hi, recently I bought Halo; Combat Evolved, and I couldn't pay it. He says try downloading it again.

Even after several attempt of downloading it again it still doesn't work, still I paid 1200 Microsoft Points on it..

Anyone's got an idea of how to run the game or get the points back ?

No. It's stated on the marketplace when you purchase anything that there are no refunds.

If he isn't signed in his games aren't shared...the only other option IF he decides to do so is set a unit as his home unit (for digital games only)
Yes, my first thought is that the account that owns the games is no longer set on the specific Xbox one as home.

Basically the main account can share their purchases if they are signed in or if the set one specific Xbox one as the home Xbox one for their account.

This is something they get to decide so it sounds like you will want to buy the game yourself.

Good news is Destiny is on sale (disc)

Finally figured it out. It seems that one of my sons added another dlc to the game and it appears to have a bug. After deleting the info from his acct. my game works. Down side : he can't play BL2 anymore. I bought him Titanfall as conciliation.
