Can't play game pass games offline like before all of a sudden.

Yeah I checked recent purchases and it did go through about a month ago that I purchased the game and passed it, but all of a sudden it's not there anymore and i can't play it, and i'm pretty sure you can't refund games bought digitally.

Where did you read in the terms of service that you can play Game Pass Games offline?

The closest thing I read about
offline play on Game Pass in this FAQ. Where it says that not all games allow offline play, and for those that allow offline play, you can only play them offline for 30 days.

As GamePass is a "rental" subscription, the games have to check at least every month if your subscription is still active and valid.

Otherwise you could join Game Pass, download all the games, set your console offline, and cancel the subscription. And since the console can't check if your subscription is still active, the console assumes that the subscription ran out, if it is offline
for a certain amount of time.

What irritates me is that now that I have game pass ultimate, if a game I happen to already own digitally is on game pass it makes it so I can't play it if I'm not online. So where as I could play say FH4 offline before, now I can't.

Course that could also be the licensing system in general.

Game Pass games can be played offline if they don't have MP components

I suspect that Game Pass won't allow you to play completely offline as FS19 has an MP component. It may simply be you can't bypass that part of it

Absolutely. I can't be bothered to play vanilla Skyrim either, I've already done that 5+ times! The mods were the only thing that makes it worth going back and playing after so may playthroughs over the years! I was just letting people know that is a workaround, perhaps there is someone out there who's never played the game before and now all of a sudden it's broken, you know, so playing offline wouldn't be such of a problem as it is to me and you.

Hurry up Bethesda, fix our game- we did pay for it after all.
