    Can't play game I purchased on XBOXStore, I'm signed in


    I'm unable to play the game RIDE which I purchased some time ago, says that i suddenly require a disc.

    I am signed into xbox live, other games without disc can function.

    This is what I get for trusting Microsoft to digitize my game library, lesson learned, certainly the last time I will ever purchased a "digital" game, i never would have imagined my rights to the game would be invalidated upon a microsoft server downtime,
    ugh.

    I'm getting the same issue. Really wish Microsoft made it possible to play games that you've purchased and downloaded offline if you can't sign in. Makes everything unplayable purchased via the Xbox app/Microsoft App. Dare I say it but I don't have any issues on my PS5 if I'm offline or signed out. I can still play games I've purchased and downloaded and don't feel like I've been robbed.
