Can't play Forza Horizon 2 during your network outage

So with thousands,if not millions of people getting an Xbox for Christmas this year, I was one of them. I couldn't wait to on my brand new system and load up Forza Horizon 2. To my dismay the Xbox Live has been compromised for unknown reasons, and now I
can't sign in, no problem I thought, until I tried to play Forza. The game refuses to go past the start menu without having me sign in. I'm close to throwing around some profanity, but I realize there might be a fix to the issue that I am unaware of. I heard
Microsoft was going to make an internet connection required until people become up in arms about it, so I assumed they dropped that ridiculous requirement, but I guess they didn't. I'm furious that I have a four hundred dollar paperweight, and I'm sure thousands
around the US are experiencing the same thing. If I really can't play my game that I paid sixty dollars for without an internet connection, I'm going to be royally *** off. I guess I'll go play my PS4 offline in the meantime.

Dude, I understand your frustration. It's just as bad on the PS4. You can't do anything gaming wise. It really ruins a lot of things. It sucks that games nowadays require internet connections as well. I don't believe any of this stuff going on is Microsoft
or Sony's fault though. It was supposedly a DDOS attack. So we just gotta wait patiently for it to be fixed.

It's still messed up when you can't play at all period. I have forza-horizon 2 on Xboxone was going to play. but now i cant. when on my ps4 I can at least play offline driveclub or anything else

16ms lag.. if that.. every week there is an outage usually lasting at least 12 hours.. any game that requires online features like forza horizon 2 which NEEDS other players times to even race, the game just stops.. and that's just the outages I notice, it
is definitely more..
