Can't play fortnite without xbox Live!!

We have just bought an Xbox and have played fortnite for a week with no problems. Now we can't login into Fortnite without xbox live. Not happy Microsoft $80 a year Last thing we will get from you!!. Very very disappointed children here and a very expensive
exercise for parents anyway lesson learned , we will just go the PS route again. Dumb move Microsoft you are putting a generation off you products.

I have a question. Why do we have to pay xbox live gold every month to play fortnite.? The ps4 users dont have to pay for ps plus to play fortnite. So can you guys let us play fortnite without xbox live gold, please?

Online multiplayer has always been a paid service on the Xbox.

There are often free play weekends, and many retailers put Live cards on sale at random times throughout the year. In the 10+ years I've been on Live, I have yet to play full price for the subscription. Often times I'm spending $40-50/year depending on the
sale price I catch at a store I frequent. If you're able to join Microsoft Rewards (Microsoft Rewards - Kostenlose Prämien sammeln) there are simple tasks that can be done daily to earn points that can be redeemed
for things such as Live.

Don't forget.. You're in the same boat at playstation..You also need a monthly subscription to play online..

Hello Microsoft, i think that i am not the only one hwo has done this critique, but, i think is necessary.

i want to know, why fortnite in xbox still workin with xbox live gold, i can't pay every month the price of that subscripcion, and also, playstation players can play fortnite without psn plus, why you don't do the same thing,fortnite without xbox live gold,
it could be genial for people that can't pay the subscripcion.

Microsoft aren't going to change their policy of requiring Xbox Gold to play online, so you have three options:

1: Cough up for Xbox Gold

2: Get a PS4

3: Don't play Fortnite

You can't play without xbox live gold. some things cannot be free just because we play a fortnite. nintendo can because it has separate servers. anyway to force you need the gold sorry
