can't play fortnite on my account

I am getting an error message when I try to sign into fortnite.

Cannot see shared content

Fortnite & Trove Issues

I would want to say that my game Fortnite & Trove are having issues to play on. Fortnite is having problems to join parties so I can't play with my friends. Trove is having issues which I can't login to the server as an error.

 

You need to change your privacy settings in order to play Fortnite. It's under the settings for your actual Xbox account.

 

Thank you for the input! Change them to what exactly? I can play it on my account but can't on my son's account.

 

You need to change the setting for other players created content so you are able to view it.

 

Fortnite requires that you can view other peoples created content and most child accounts or privacy customized account prevent that from happening. So you would have to change that particular settings If you have any further questions you can visit

So how do i change thos e setting from my account. The account i am using is a child account, and i am having the same message when i try to play fortnite

 

Did you ever get it to work? I am having the same problem.

 

Try reinstall the game and try clearing cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10
seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

The best way for you to change these settings is to sign into the Adult account you're set up under, then go to
Settings>Account>Family>View Family Members>[the child account]>Privacy and Online Safety>Xbox Live Privacy>View details and customize.


Set those settings to be a little more open and let us know if that helps with letting you play on the game.
