Can’t play downloaded games!

This is ridiculous... you pay for game, downloaded it and can’t play it until reinstalling. I was downloading it for 6 hours...

The basic reason that you would get that message is that their is no license for that game on that console which means 1 of 3 things:

If the game was bought digitally

1. You are trying to play on an account that did not purchase the game or if you did purchase the game with that account it was refunded back for some reason or another. What i would do is check online at account.live.com and look at your purchase history
to make sure that you were not refunded it for some reason or another.

2. An account that did purchase the game at one point was on the console and downloaded the game to that console and did not set that console as that accounts home console so other profiles on that console could then play their digital games.

If it was a disc game.

3. The license for the game goes with the disc itself so the disc would have to be in the console in order to play the game.

•At this point the issue only occurs with GTA V •If I have my console plugged into a normal outlet or power strip, the issue still occurs. •I am using an external hard drive. •Yes, the issue happens on all accounts on my Xbox.

Power cycling does not seem to solve the problem, so do I need to remove my profile for this to work?

chat or phone team as it sounds like there is an issue with that order specifically.
