    Can't play downloaded game while disconnected from xbox live


    I keep getting the "disconnected from xbox live, reconnect in 10 minutes" message. I like being able to play a game and watch netflix on another console at the same time, so i log in, start the desired game, and then disconnect on that console. then, i start
    the other console and connect to xbox live. i read online to transfer my licenses and it would solve this problem, since the xbox I'm attempting to play on is not the original xbox i bought and downloaded it on. even though i transferred my licenses, i still
    get the same stupid message. HOW DO I FIX THIS

    Won't let me play Gears of War 3

    I'm signed into Xbox live on my Xbox one. I go to play gears of war 3 and once the Xbox 360 screen loads it says I have been disconnected from Xbox live even tho I'm still online. I can't play multiplayer. I can't figure out why it's saying I'm disconnected
    from Xbox live while I'm still online. This just happens on backwards compatible games. Need help please.

    How do i delete updates ?

    Remove the game completely from your Hard Drive.

    Disconnect from LIVE.

    Re-install the disc while disconnected from LIVE.

    Can't play on LIVE or it will update... but that's how you can do it.

    Did you do the final part of the license transfer and download the content again?

    If it is already on your hard drive all that will be grabbed are the new licenses.

    Backwards compatibility problem

    You need to play the game while connected to Xbox Live, it will then download a patch which will allow you to play the game. After downloading this patch you can disconnect from Xbox Live and you will still be able to play.

    Getting disconnected from Xbox Live, then getting 8015190E error.

    I can't download any of those games either, I'm frequently experiencing disconnects from xbox live and the "cannot connect to xbox live" while trying to play with my friends. this all started after the latest update and trying to download the free for gold
    games when they first appeared on free for gold. This is infuriating, i wish they would come out with a statement instead of just posting the usual crap about how we need to fix the problem on our end.

    The same goes for 360 games on the 360 i can play my digital purchases but i can't play multiplayer or download anything new because i'm instantly disconnected from xbox live the moment i attempt to connect to xbox live. Its very frustrating.
