    Can't play downloaded free Gold game.


    Hi all, I recently downloaded Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel from Xbox Live Gold for free when Borderlands 2 was free and it is installed and it still asks me if I own the game. I did a web search and only seen something about making my Xbox One my home. It
    is my home already. Can anyone help please?

    Will Halo 5 still be at 50% discount tomorrow?

    I downloaded it for free in the games for gold section and now I can't play it it says I need to buy it

    I'm aware that with only having a trial membership, I can't play with free Games with Gold. I just want to know... is the game that I downloaded mine forever—is it permanently on my account—only I can't play it until I have a month/year gold subscription?

    Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel were only available to try for a free weekend on the 27-30 of october. After that you have to pay for them.

    Are you sure it was a game with gold title, I can't actually remember. Was it maybe a free to play title for a weekend or something ..

    EDIT: yeah I can't find it in gold list, but it has been offered as a free to play game as a trial, i think maybe this is when youve downloaded it?

    Can anyone else remember it being a gold title?

    Games with Gold, a proper explanation PLEASE!

    My understanding is it works like PS+ as in the games are yours to play for free when you are a Gold member. If your membership lapses then you can't play them without buying but as soon as you reactivate Gold they are yours again.

    Games should be changed every month but I'm not 100% on that.

    When games change, previous ones you have downloaded will still remain free. Even if you delete you can re-download as long as you are Gold.
