Can't play download Borderlands on Xbox One?

    Can't play download Borderlands on Xbox One?


    It says it is available on the Backwards Compatible list and also on Wikipedia, but I can't seem to install it and it says "This game is not playable yet".

    Why is this? Is anyone else having this trouble?

    Question about buying the game

    If I purchase Borderlands on xbox.com and I am part of the preview program, will I be able to download and play Borderlands on my Xbox one?

    Oh, I should probably add that playing on Xbox One with Borderlands downloaded into it through backwards compatibility.

    Borderlands 1 Co-op on Xbox 360 and Xbox One

    Ok I got it working. Had to delete the installed Borderlands 1 game from the Xbox 360 that was installed from the disc and then download the digital version of Borderlands off of xbox live that I had purchased on the One onto the 360. Then she was able to sign in to her account and play the same version of Borderlands that I have on the One and we were able to system link and play over private match on both consoles. Craziness.

    If I had Internet at home it would be one of the only games I play. If cod4 wasn't filled with hackers I'd play that too along with mw2 and borderlands. Can't wait for borderlands 2 to come out.

    Thanks for the reply, but "wait a week" is kind of a crappy solution. Was looking forward to playing the Borderlands 2 DLC this weekend, but if I can't get on Xbox Live, I can't download it. If whatever janky network problem isn't going to be fixed, then
    the update should be available on the website. I can't imagine it takes much work... I mean, it's already available for download through Live.

    Im having the same problem with borderlands 2.. it keeps saying 'can't download'.. it stays at 1%, 4% and one time earlier today it got to 75% and then stopped and said it cant download.. This problem is so annoying..
