Can’t Play DAI Offline

So I bought DAI when it first came out digitally, I was able to play offline then. I’ve just moved so no internet and decided to play today only to have the “Sign in or renew the subscription (0x803f900a)” pop up and ruin my life.

My Xbox is set as my home Xbox so that’s not the issue. I don’t understand how I was able to play offline when this first came out but not now? Anyone else got this problem or a fix for it because it’s really frustrating that I can’t play a game I’ve paid for offline.

No, you don't need to do this procesure every single time.

Some games try to check the license online in a regular time basis... when we're using a connected Xbox it's transparent and we didn't notice that...

In your case you should do this procedure every time the game tries to update it's license...

When you connect your Xbox and it have internet connection just try to start the game... It should renew it's license automatically and start...

After that you don't need to keep your Xbox connected to your personal hotspot
