Can't Play Black Ops 3 Online? Read me.

I am not an expert and there are multiple bugs right now. That being said I will share what I know.

I am currently re-downloading this game for the third time. Sound familiar?

If so maybe this will help: After the Treyarch logo you get to a screen with a soldier holding two guns, and it says "Press a" DO NOT PRESS A until the number at the top of the screen increases from 33.0.0.0 to 33.1.9.2 (i believe is the
current playlist update) it can take secconds or minutes to change but whatever you do DO NOT press A until the number increases.

If you mess this up there is a chance the number will no longer be able to increase even if you hard reset your console and reset your internet. (try this first if you haven't) you will most likely have to delete the game, hard reset console, redownload.

I believe the root of this problem is if you don't let the playlist update before pressing A it gets corrupted or something to that effect and is unable to download the new playlist or play on the corrupted list.

How to identify this issue: If your soldier screen is rapidly freezing and unfreezing appearing to be some sort of lag. I believe this is the game trying over and over to download the playlist and failing.

33.1.9.2 update still won't work? Any more suggestions for the Hardened Edition?

 

Did the Hardened Edition come with more DLC? if so, does it give you the option to download later? if so, just do the game first, wait longer till you can go online play both modes... after you can install the extra DLC...
