I upgraded from my Xbox One Day One Edition to an Xbox One X in December.

Since upgrading I’ve had daily and often hourly disconnects from Xbox live only when i play Battlefield V. I watch YouTube for hours without a single disconnect to Xbox Live. I load up Battlefield V and somehow within 10 minutes I lose connection to Xbox
Live and this keeps happening over and over day and night.

I’ve done all the standard and advanced troubleshooting for the game and for my network to no avail. Reinstalling the game, deleting my local cache, resetting several network settings, ensured my NAT is open and unrestricted.

I plugged back in my Xbox One Day One Edition last week and have not had a single disconnect whike playing Battlefield V. Not ONE! Zero disconnects to Xbox Live when playing Battlefield V on my Day One Edition.

So the issue is 100% to do with my Xbox One X that now acts as a very expensive paperweight in my game room. My next, next generation console purchase might be a Playstation unless this issue with Xbox One X is sorted out.

    :)

    Hi,

you might wanna try a factory reset

Though rare, there are times when you may need to completely erase and restore your Xbox One, such as when you sell it or give it to a friend. There may also be times when you want to reset your console's operating system (OS) to its factory defaults for
troubleshooting purposes, but you want to keep all of your games and apps installed. Xbox One provides a simple and easy way to perform both actions.

Warning Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when it’s
connected with the service, so if you've been offline for a while, you'll need to connect to Xbox Live before taking these steps.

Note If you can't perform the following procedure to restore the factory default settings because you have no picture on your screen or you can't access the Settings menu, you can also perform this action by using a file
loaded onto a USB flash drive. For access to the file and the instructions, see How to reset your Xbox One console to factory
defaults using a USB flash drive
. This option will delete your games and apps as well, so if possible, you should use the steps below.

If you’re ready to reset your console to the factory default settings, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console.

    1. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:
      • Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You should use this option when selling
or gifting the console to someone else. You should only use this option as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
      • Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. This will save you from downloading
or reinstalling the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games &
        apps
and save Reset and remove everything as a last resort.
      • Cancel. To back out of this screen, simply select the Cancel button. No action has been taken at this point. This is a safe exit from this screen.

After you select one of the options, your Xbox One console will begin the process of erasing the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.

Same here. 20 hours of GTA V now worthless until my console stops being a paperweight.

    Can’t play downloaded games

Exactly as Christopher RN said, GTA V is installed digitally and I have the rights to play it. I purchased it on my profile on my Xbox, and I used to be able to play it just fine. All at once I was getting the same error message and now I can’t do anything
about it. I have purchased the game twice already, once on my Xbox 360 to play it and once on my Xbox One, and nothing changed, so it is kind of infuriating that I still can’t play with my friends

Battlefield V and losing connection to Xbox Live

After disconnecting my Xbox One X and hooking back up my Day One Edition i have not had a single disconnect in 3 days. Not a single disconnect in 3 days. Not one.

Im fairly certain that rules out internet, modem and router issues. FYI i play on console for ease of access and not having to bother with port forwarding and all of that BS.

Now that i think about it ive had daily disconnects from Xbox live only when playing Battlefield V ever since I hooked up my XB1 X about 3 weeks ago.

something is obviously going on with the Xbox One X platform, Xbox Live and EA servers. I now have a 600$ paper weight sitting idle in my gaming room.

I run Battlefield V off of a Seagate 7200 external HD on my Day One console because the Day One’s processor and memory are so slow. Anyway, Im not sure if there is some account security issue causing my disconnects because i switched in a new console, if
my XB1 X is just broken, or if this is some memory issue with Xbox One X’s physical memory.

This disconnect really feels like the old memory leak issues from the early days of PC gaming where the player would consistently disconnect after being in game after 5 to 10 minutes or so.

With the whole “disconnecting every 10 minutes” thing there is also the possibility that its an overheating issue due to poor console design or and/or due to faulty airflow design or insufficient or substandard cooling hardware.

This kills my confidence in Xbox as a platform. I stepped away from my Playstation in 2006 when i picked uo the 360 and I have been a loyal Xbox user ever since. If this Xbox One X issues with Battlefield V arent sorted out Ill be going back to Playstation
when the next generation of consoles are released.

Will an Xbox One Disney Infinity 3.0 base work on the Xbox Series X/S?

This is what you need to know:

Xbox one and xbox x|s you can play it on and a lot of other games on (this is like a pc)

Xbox one series x|s and xbox one x|s you can’t play Disney infinity and other games on like Skyrim on. (This is like a Mac)

For another example is for computers the ones that are like a pc can play lots of more games the Mac ones can’t because they can’t play 32 bit games those are like Disney infinity and Skyrim so you need the pc ones
