    Hey, So after looking forever I finally found a physical copy of Red Dead Redemption for Xbox 360 so that I could finally play it on my Xbox One. After installing it and booting it up I get the message that I need to sign-in to my profile. So I enter my
    email for my Xbox One profile, only to have it ask me to enter my email again. I then realize it wants me to enter my Xbox 360 account information. There is only one major problem though, I don't have an Xbox 360 account. I never had a 360 and the Xbox One
    is my first Microsoft console. What am I supposed to do? It doesn't appear as though I can create a new 360 account and then sign-in with it. I can still play the game without a profile but it won't save any of my progress and I really don't feel like finishing
    the game in one sitting. Any help would be greatly appreciated as to how I can go about playing backwards compatible games, having no 360 account.

    No, sorry, you can't play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One, even if they are digitally downloaded. At this point in time the Xbox One isn't backwards compatible. The games are linked to your account but the Xbox One simply can't run Xbox 360 games.

    Destiny isn't yet on the backward compatibility list and if I'm honest I can't ever see it being on there.

    However if it were on the list, then yes you'd be able to play with your friends on their 360. The backwards compatible games are running in a virtual 360.

    Hello, my xbox live profile is called "RinsableMLG" and today for some reason, I can't play xbox 360 backwards compatible games be ause my profile won't download on the xbox 360 servers. I can play xbox one games, but I can't play my xbox 360 games
    and my profile won't download and it states "There's a problem with your credentials, blah blah blah". If I use my other two accounts, I can play on the xbox 360 games but not my RinsableMLG one. I seriosuly don't know what to do and I'm panicking right now.
    I have the exact same problem. I was just trying to play saints row but couldn't connect to xbox live on backwards compatibility. So I deleted my account and now I can't download on backwards compatibility with the same error message as you.
